First City Chess Club cordially invites you to participate in our first USCF-Rated Online-Quick Chess Tournament.
This is an online-only event.
No games will be played at the Club Meeting place due to campus hours of availability.
Format
- Time Control: G/15 (15 minutes, no increment)
- Rating: USCF Online-Regular Rated
- Platform: Chess.com
- Club Hosting the Event: First City Chess Club – USCF Rated (FC3)
- Format: Online Swiss, 5 rounds (non-elimination)
- Section: Single Open Section
- Player Cap: 50 players
- Entry Fee: FREE
EVENT OVERVIEW
First City Chess invites you to our USCF Online-Regular Rated Blitz/Rapid hybrid event on Thursday, November 20th, hosted directly through our Chess.com club:
FC3 (First City Chess Club – USCF Rated)
This event will appear in Chess.com’s tournament listings under FC3, making it easy to find, join, and follow.
Games will be played under official USCF Online-Regular rules with a fast and exciting G/15 no-increment time control.
Entry is free — the only reward is glory and bragging rights.
SCHEDULE (CENTRAL TIME)
- Check-In / Registration: 21:30 – 22:29 CST
(Registration opens automatically 1 hour prior) - Round 1: 22:30 CST
- Rounds 2–5: Start ASAP after each game
- Total Rounds: 5
If we do not get enough registrations, the tournament will be canceled.
TIME CONTROL
- Game in 15 minutes (no increment)
- Rated under USCF Online-Regular on Chess.com
REGISTRATION
- Free entry
- 50-player cap
- Deadline: Thursday, November 20 at 22:29 CST (or when full)

In order to participate you must have already filled out the USCF Verification Form:

Failure to verify more than 7 days before the tournament may prohibit you from joining.
The FC3 Chess.com tournament link will be emailed the evening of November 20.

USCF Online-Regular Rules
- Active USCF membership required
- Games rated under USCF Online-Regular
Chess.com Fair Play
- No engines or outside assistance
- Violations may result in removal and rating corrections
No video monitoring is required.

- All ages
- All skill levels
- Must have:
- Active USCF membership
- Chess.com account in good standing

- Stay online until all rounds are finished
